About the programme
VIA offers both an English-language programme in Global Nutrition & Health as well as a programme in Danish called Nutrition & Health. The Danish programme has a stronger national focus.
Subjects include nutrition, food research, sociology, psychology, management, biochemistry and public health issues. Students choose between three specialisations: clinical dietician; public health promotion and prevention; management, food and service.
Graduates typically work within one of the three specialisations mentioned above. They work in different job functions in public and private industry, such as with teaching, clinical counselling, prevention, communication, treatment, management as well as research and product development.
Graduates can continue their studies with a master's degree at a university.
