How to apply for admission under quota 1

If you have Danish examination results that meet the admission requirements, you can apply under quota 1 up until 5 July at 12:00 noon.

If you have Danish examination results that meet the admission requirements, you can apply under quota 1 up until 5 July at 12:00 noon.

If you are an applicant with an international or foreign examination result that meets the admission requirements, you must apply under quota 2 no later than 15 March at 12:00 noon. 

For quota 1, you will be admitted exclusively based on your examination average from the following Danish degrees:

  • Studentereksamen (STX)
  • Højere forberedelseseksamen (HF)
  • Højere handelseksamen (HHX)
  • Højere teknisk eksamen (HTX)
  • EUX
  • Gymnasiale indslusningsforløb for fremmedsprogede (GIF)
  • Gymnasium exam from Greenland, the Faroe Islands, plus Duborg skolen and A. P. Møller skolen  

If you have passed more than one gymnasium exam, you can only be admitted based on the first one. In other words, you cannot improve your exam result by taking individual subjects. 

Make sure to check the admission requirements for the programme you are applying for, since some programmes require specific subjects at a certain level. Check the "Enrolment" section on the programme's web page. 

Application deadline for quota 1

Both the attachments and the application should be uploaded at optagelse.dk no later than 5 July at 12:00 noon. 

Adjustment of exam results

You have the opportunity to have your examination result adjusted if you have an education that is equivalent to the Danish gymnasium exam and if you are starting a programme within two years after passing your gymnasium exam. Read about adjustment of exam results.
