A typical exchange student programme consists of 3-4 courses and a project of between 5 and 15 ECTS credits - at least 30 ECTS per semester. The students work on projects in teams of 3-4.
We offer English-language courses to all exchange students. English is taught on different levels. You will be tested and divided into groups upon your arrival unless you are a native English speaker.
Many exchange students do a project. Project work is a way of incorporating real-life challenges into study programmes. You will typically be working in teams of four to analyse and solve a problem, sometimes in cooperation with a company.
All teams will be assigned one or more supervisors. The supervisors will assist you in forming teams and finding possible ideas for projects, and they will guide you through your project work.
All exchange students doing a project must take the Project Methodology course, which supplies students with the tools required.
Students who have completed 2 years = 120 ECTS of study may attend a double diploma scheme at Department of ICT Engineering. They will be awarded a double diploma upon completion of an internship and 1 year of study.
The internship must include at least 20 weeks full time work awarding a full 30 ECTS, and the year of study must award 60 ECTS yielding a total of 90 ECTS.
The timetables shows the days and times each course is taught.
Please have a look at the timetables to see whether your choice is possible according to the timetable. If it is not, you will have to find alternative courses.
Evaluation and exams
During the study course there will be a number of tests and exams, both oral and written. Your performance will be assessed by an examiner and an external/internal examiner.
We have a close dialogue with the industry in order to make sure that our programme provides you with the skills and qualifications you will need on the job.
