    • This module deals with communicative competence in English in the primary school and teacher education, including views of English as a subject and a language. And it serves as both a theoretica base for the practical application of English teaching in module 2 and 3.

    2. Culture and intercultural communicative comptetence

    • This module adds a cultural component to module 1. It aims to qualify student teachers' creative and practical insight into learning design, focusing on cultural aspects of English-speaking countries as well as criteria for selecting texts of a variety of genres.

    3. Educational practice in primary school

    • This module introduces students to the teaching profession in Denmark and involves hands-on teaching at a primary school. That means the module offers an opportunity to gain experience in planning, delivering and evaluating lessons.
