    Prerequisites: Proficiency with Java programming and database languages (SQL)

    Maximum enrolment: Maximum 30 participants. If there are more eligible applicants than available seats, they will be distributed according to first-come, first served basis.

    Spend your summer developing your skills in internet programming and work on projects with international students from all over the world

    Main purpose
    The purpose of this course is to qualify the student to understand and master the basic concepts of internet programming, the C# language and the .NET framework.

    Having completed this course, students should be able to:

    • Master the basic skills for programming using C# language
    • Have a basic knowledge of the .NET framework and be able to choose the best technology for different problems
    • Understand the concepts of web servers, protocols, and client side versus server side programming

    Teaching methods and study activities
    The course will progress as a combination of workshops and project oriented tasks in the 4-5 student project groups.

  • Tuition and fees

    Accommodation, meals, insurance, visa and travelling expenses are not included in the fee

    EU-citizens = 250 EUR

    Non-EU citizens = 900 EUR

    Tuition fee waiver:
    Students from VIA, students from VIA’s partners or students from other Danish educational institutions can participate free of charge if they can provide proof of credit transfer into their own study programme.

    Accommodation, meals (food and drink), insurance, visa and travelling expenses to and from Denmark are not included in the fee.

    Note: This course is offered as a part of the Bachelor in IT Engineering. Seats available after allocating seats to credit-transfer students from VIA University College, Danish Higher Educational Institutions and partner institutions are offered under the Empty-place Scheme and the rules of Danish Open University. You must meet the admission requirements for the degree programme under which the course is offered.
