Main purpose
The main purpose is to gain knowledge of dynamic systems
Knowledge
After the course the student will be familiar with
- Solving linear differential equations using the Laplace transform
- Analysis of dynamic systems using the Laplace transform
- Simulation of dynamic systems
Skills
After the course the student will be able to
- Describe dynamic systems using differential equations
- Solve differential equations
- Calculate the step and impulse response of dynamic systems
- Write simple Matlab scripts to simulate dynamic systems
Competences
After the course the student can describe a dynamic system mathematically and determine the time evolution analytically and by simulation

The total work load is 136 hours
Study activities include classroom teaching, reading the textbook, solving problems as well as classroom presentations and discussions.
