Research programme for Aesthetics and pedagogy

We research aesthetics and pedagogy in order to isolate and identify their relevance for educational programmes, professions and research.

How we work

Methodologically, we use a wide range of different approaches depending on the projects’ research questions, such as case studies, action research and text analysis.

Research areas

Our research includes:

  • Aesthetics and pedagogy, the relationship between them and their relationship to concepts, such as experience and recognition
  • The relationship to concepts, such as art, culture, knowledge and education
  • Subject areas, such as literature, language, music and drama, as related to the pedagogical work in schools and daycare institutions.

Our research projects

The programme for aesthetics and pedagogy researches relevance for educational programmes, professions and research alike. The focus is on isolating and identifying relevance. Methodologically, our work is based on, for instance, case studies and text analysis.
