There is no one-solution-fits-all
When you look at climate adaptation, there is no one-size-fits-all. So, in our Centre you find a broad range of experts and disciplines, such as engineers, water and climate experts, biologists and urban planners.
Our projects range from permeable pavements to green roof and sponge buildings, using machine learning to predict rising sea and groundwater levels, and ‘circular city’ thinking – where cities aim to alleviate pollution and be net producers of resources rather than the opposite.
The question today is how we develop our cities and countries to be prepared and help alleviate the effects of climate change. We believe in a strong international cooperation, and we engage in several networks on EU and global levels. Climate change does not care about borders.
