    Guest Parking

An agreement can be made in advance for the respective educational programme or unit to cover the cost of guest parking — e.g., for internship supervisors, course participants, members of educational committees, etc.

This arrangement applies to all programmes at Campus C, as well as certain common areas and the executive management (e.g. official guests, board members, etc.).

If no prior agreement has been made, guests must pay for parking as they would elsewhere in the city.

Guests must take a parking ticket upon entering the facility (do not use a credit card). They must also receive a written parking permit (e.g. by email) from the relevant programme or unit. The guest can then collect a validation card from the reception. Both the validation card and the parking ticket must be inserted into the payment machine upon exit or at one of the machines located by the stairwells (Bryggertorvet and Mellemrummet) as payment for parking.

Please note: To use this arrangement, the individual programme or department must have a special account set up. This can be done by contacting the reception or via viaservice@via.dk.

    Bicycle Parking

Both outdoors and indoors, bicycles must be parked in bicycle racks. Bicycles that are not parked in racks will be removed without notice.

You can access the indoor bicycle parking area in the basement either directly from Silkeborgvej or via Ceres Allé, just before the entrance to the car parking facility.
Guests are not permitted to use the locked indoor bicycle parking, but may use the bicycle racks in the surrounding area.

  • There are 21 disabled parking spaces in the parking garage.

  • Complaints regarding parking fines must be directed to Q-Park by filling out their online complaint form.

  • VIA employees can park for free in the parking facility.

You can register for a parking permit here.

If your vehicle is registered, the barrier will automatically open when entering and exiting the facility.

If you're on a motorcycle, please use the barrier marked for motorcycles (furthest to the left).

If you experience any issues at the barrier, assistance is available via the service phone on the parking terminal.

The red lights in the ceiling indicate the spaces that are pre-reserved for VIA. According to VIA’s rental agreement, we use these spaces on both levels. However, there is nothing that technically prevents others from using our spaces, just as there is nothing preventing us from using other available spaces.

Note: If you use the Q-Park parking app and have activated Q-Park Go, you must disable this function for the parking garage in Ceresbyen. This is to avoid being automatically charged for parking via the app.

    See Q-Park’s guide here.

  • Car parking for students, course participants, and other guests without a parking permit.

Standard parking rates apply. See Q-Park’s website for prices – click here.

    • Parking beyond one hour is only allowed with a valid Q-Park permit. The parking permit must be registered to the correct license plate number.

Parking control is carried out Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day, for cars, motorcycles, and scooters parked on the campus grounds. Parking is only allowed in marked bays.
