What is Employability Camp?

VIA’s Employability Camp is a unique opportunity to prepare for your studies, life and future career in Denmark. Join the camp for the best beginning to your new everyday-life in Denmark, get ahead academically, while getting to know your new city and fellow international students.

About the camp

  • Here is what you get if you join VIA Employability Camp 2020.

    • Intensive Danish language course for beginners supplied by local language centres in our campus cities
    • Building a career in Denmark – introduction to Danish work culture through presentations by real Danish companies, e.g. meat producer Danish Crown A/S and construction company Casa A/S
    • Introduction to life as a VIA student – meeting former and current international students at VIA
    • Networking with fellow students and Danish companies
    • Field trips – getting to know your new local area, the Danish landscapes, cuisine and culture.
    • Social events on and off campus
    • And much more…
  • Dates for 2021 will be announced in spring '21.

    The days start at 08:30AM and is expected to finish around 03:30PM, but social activities may be placed later in the day, or in the evening.


    Employability camp is available at three different campuses:

    The specific programme for each location will be announced during summer 2021


    Housing during the camp is, as is the case during your studies at VIA, your own responsibility. Find information on housing options in each of our campus cities here
    Start looking for accommodation as soon as possible. Good options fill up quickly.

    * NB! VIA is entitled to cancel the camp if it has less than 30 registrants.

  • Here is how to register for Employability Camp

    Places on VIA’s Employability Camp are limited and awarded on first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your place, please register by going to our webshop VIApay and pay the registration fee of EUR100.

    When payment and registration have been completed, you will receive an email confirmation. This is your proof of purchase. Please keep it for future reference.

    The registration deadline is x August 2021 (t.b.a.).

    Note: registration and payment of fee is binding, but will be returned if you are not admitted to a study programme at VIA.

  • Registration for the 2020 camp is now closed - registration for the 2021 camp will open in the spring of 2021.
