VIA’s Employability Camp is a unique opportunity to prepare for your studies, life and future career in Denmark. Join the camp for the best beginning to your new everyday life in Denmark, get ahead academically, while getting to know your new city and fellow international students.

About the camp

  • VIA Employability Camp 2021 will be conducted as a hybrid-camp with a mix of online teaching and events as well as social events on campus to accommodate students arriving to Denmark just before study start, as well as covid-19 restrictions.

    Here is what you get if you join VIA Employability Camp 2021.

    • Kick-off and meet-up online event - meet your fellow students and VIA staff, and get familiar with the tools we use during the camp.
    • Intensive online camp - Danish language course for beginners, cultural workshop, Employability Day with a chance to meet Danish companies, introduction to Danish workplace culture, learn about problem-based learning.
    • Full access to the online language platform Swap Language with Danish lessons you can watch on-demand. Watch this video to learn more about Swap Language.
    • Social events, networking and field trips.
    • And much more…
  • When?

    5 August, 10 AM to 1 PM - Online kick-off event and introduction to the Danish language platform “Swap Language”

    10 August, 10 AM to 1.15 PM - Pre-camp online meet-up, prep for the camp and “Swap Language” second lesson 

    16-20 August - Online camp, days start at 09:00AM and runs to 03.00PM. 

    Social events - Dates t.b.a., will be conducted on campus after study start.

    Housing during the camp is, as is the case during your studies at VIA, your own responsibility. Find information on housing options in each of our campus cities here
    Start looking for accommodation as soon as possible. Good options fill up quickly. You can join the online part of the camp from your home country if you have not yet arrived in Denmark.

    * NB! VIA is entitled to cancel the camp if it has less than 30 registrants.

  • Registration for Employability Camp 2021 is closed

    Places at VIA’s Employability Camp are limited and awarded on first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your place, please fill in the form above. You can pay the entrance fee now, or, wait until you have received your admittance letter and accepted your study place

    When your registration is completed, you will receive a confirmation email along with payment information. Your place at the camp is secured once you have paid the entrance fee. 

    Deadline for registration and payment is 3 August 2021 23.59 CET (11.59 P.M.)

    Note: You must register to the camp and pay the entrance fee in order to attend the camp. Registration is not binding until the entrance fee has been paid. In case you are not accepted at VIA, your entrance fee will be refunded.

  • Registration for the 2021 camp will open in the spring of 2021.
