Want to specialise in Machine Technology?

At the Global Business Engineering programme, you can choose between two specialisations: Machine Technology and Sustainable Transition. Here, you can learn more about what the Machine Technology specialisation is all about.

En kvindelig og en mandlig studerende sidder med en grøn ledning mellem sig foran 3D-printere, blå sweater, rød ledning, 3D-print i forskellige farver, buster, halskæder, ledninger, træborde, computer, bærbar, laptop.

Would you like to specialise in Machine Technology and help design, develop and market the mechanical products of the future? With a specialisation in Machine Technology, you will learn to develop innovative products and find solutions that support sustainable development for the future.

You will gain an in-depth understanding of machine design and mechanics. Through a range of courses, you will develop strong skills in statics and strength of materials, enabling you to analyse and dimension products, machinery and production equipment within industrial contexts.

At the same time, you will learn to construct, design and manufacture industrial products with a focus on environmental awareness and sustainability. For example, a semester project – carried out in groups – could involve designing a new product within welfare technology. You would also develop an international marketing plan for your product and present it to potential clients in a company. This ensures that, as a student, you apply your knowledge in a practical, real-world context.

You may also choose to work on CO₂-neutral transport solutions or energy projects, such as solar panels and wind turbines. Whatever path you choose, you will operate at the intersection of people, environment, product development and business.
