Social Programme

VIA Summer School offers a social programme alongside courses. Below, you can find the 2024 social programme along with tips for other activities in and around Aarhus.

VIA Summer School offers a social programme, which will consist of a combination of social and cultural events.
Please bear in mind this is for summer schools taking place in Aarhus. Courses in other locations will have another programme.

To attend our social programme as a summer school student in Aarhus, you need to buy an access card of  €30. The card gives access to:

- All VIA's social events including Aros Art Museum, The Old Town, roundtrip in Aarhus with a guide, Danish Food Night and participation in the welcome- and farewell reception. The full social programme for 2024 will be announced in the spring , but we guarantee the above-mentioned events.

- Two food tickets (excluding drinks) to the canteen in Campus Aarhus C worth 65 kr. (approx. €9)

We very much recommend that you buy the access card to be part of the social events at VIA Summer School. The social events give you an opportunity to experience places in Aarhus you might not had considered. Even more importantly, you get to hang out with other summer school students and get the opportunity to know students who are not in the same course as you.

You will receive a payment link to the access card for the social programme. You have the right to withdraw the transaction within 14 days from the day of purchasement. You can use this template or send us an email: summerschool@via.dk

If you are a student at the Deep Dive course, and you arrive earlier than your classes start, you are more than welcome to participate in the programme for the UN class.
