What is VIA Summer School?

Every Summer, VIA Summer School offers courses in Denmark. We have a special emphasis on sustainability and entrepreneurship through problem-based learning.

VIA Summer School look forward to welcoming new students in 2024.

The Summer Schools center around sustainability and entrepreneurship. Three times, The Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship has awarded VIA University College the Entrepreneurial Educational Institution of the year.

VIA Summer School is VIA University College’s summer school. We offer three to four weeks intensive course - all for credits and taught in English. Courses take place primarily at our new, beautiful City Campus in Aarhus City Centre. Some courses might take place in other locations or abroad – find more information about this on the individual course sites.

We offer courses within health, sustainability, business, social science, animation, engineering and construction.  All courses offer hands-on experience within the respective fields and are based on an applied science approach. Many courses also offer a cross disciplinary approach and students from various disciplines attend.

We welcome Danish and international full-time students, students from our partner institutions and any other interested and qualified students both from Denmark and abroad.

The list of intensive summer school courses can be found here.

But instead of taking our word for it, listen to what former students have to say about being a part of VIA Summer School below.
