As part of VIA’s engagement in the FilmEU alliance under the European Universities Initiative, we have started the process of obtaining the EU quality label HR Excellence in Research, which supports our efforts to create attractive working conditions and career development for researchers. The label demonstrates that we work methodically with ethics, transparency, equality, and research quality.
Institutions that implement this strategy commit themselves to aligning their policies with “the European Charter for Researchers” and “the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers”.
By joining HRS4R, VIA University College commits to continuously improving the institution’s policies and practices. This commitment is expressed through:
- Ensuring ethical research practices and maintaining professional integrity
- Promoting fairness and equal opportunities in recruitment and career development
- Supporting career development through training and mentoring schemes
- Creating a collaborative and inclusive research culture that values the contributions of researchers
