1) Why have you chosen VIA Nursing exchange programme?
I had the opportunity to either choose an Erasmus Programme in Portugal or Denmark. I decided to choose VIA Nursing exchange programme because the level of medicine is higher than in Portugal and most of the people speak English so I don’t have a problem with communication.
2) What do you think of the programme?
I think that it is a very good opportunity to improve language skills and learn from each other about nursing. It’s a big challenge for everyone because we are from different countries with different cultures, languages and different English accents.
3) What do you think of Denmark?
Denmark prides itself on it’s history of Vikings; there are many medieval celebrations that take place throughout the year, they look after their churches, statues of interest, sculptures and it’s beautiful old-style buildings. I believe Denmark is very cosy and a welcoming country to stay in.
The people of Denmark are always willing to help and always believe their spoken English isn’t very good but actually they speak English really well!
It can be expensive to eat out and buy drinks in restaurants, pubs and clubs. However, supermarket prices are quite reasonable. Overall I have enjoyed my stay in Denmark and appreciate the opportunity to meeting so many people from different backgrounds and countries. However I have found it more expensive than my own country which can limit my activities in this country.
I think that Denmark is very cosy and a welcoming country to stay in. Anna Pudelewicz

5) What is your dream job(s)?
My dream jobs are to be a head nurse or to become a Nurse Lecturer in a University.
