Meet Wiktoria and Maria

Wiktoria from Poland and Maria from Romania are students at Climate and Supply Engineering at VIA's campus in Horsens. Meet them here and learn more about their experiences, the programme and their plans for the future.

Wiktoria from Poland and Maria from Romania are both 3rd semester students at the Climate and Supply Engineering study programme at VIA in Horsens.

They chose to study at VIA because of the Climate and Supply Engineering programme, which will provide them with a bachelor's degree and make them specialists in drinking water, waste water, rain water and climate adaptation. Students at the programme spend a lot of time in the laboratory examining contaminated water samples.

Both students underline the fact that there are many job opportunities after graduation, whether it being in privately owned businesses such as COWI or Rambøll, or in the public sector, i.e. municipalities.

Student job

Wiktoria holds a student job at the research department at VIA, which provides her with lots of experience working with real life projects. Experience that she can use for her studies as well as in future jobs.

I am really hoping to stay in Denmark. I like the life here and I like the people and the opportunities the country is giving me" Maria Sudit
