As a student at Campus Randers, you have free access to VIA's Makerspaces, where you can use digital tools as 3D printers, laser cutters and robot technology.

The spaces allow you to work with your own ideas and get hands-on experience on developing prototypes.

  • Campus Randers is open for students 24 hours a day. Our canteen serves a tasty selection of lunch dishes that you can also enjoy outdoors on our beautiful roof garden. The library is a centre for knowledge, learning and information. Here you can make use of more than 21,000 knowledge sources or the wireless internet connection. There are also many group workspaces for school-related meetings and discussions. 

    All of our rooms are supplied with the latest technical equipment, including projectors, sound equipment and interactive whiteboards. 

    In the cafe area you can hang out with your fellow students and play foosball if you want. There are also several sofa groups placed around campus where you can relax and have fun with students from many different programmes. 

    The facilities include: 

    • A large auditorium for lectures and presentations

    • Several group rooms with space for academic immersion 
    • Simulation laboratories with computer-operated patient models for nursing students 
    • Well-equipped workshops for creative subjects and a room for music and drama for social education students 
    • Three large and bright movement rooms equipped with fitness balls and other training equipment for psychomotor students 
    • Student library with more than 21,000 materials and room for group work.

    • Large roof garden that forms an extension of the canteen, with a good overview of the town

  • At Campus Randers we have a tradition of regular events throughout the year in which you are welcome to participate if you want. 

    • Intro party for new students as part of the study start process

    Various committees also arrange activities on an ongoing basis

    • Events with a focus on health and exercise, such as Schools On The Run
  • At the VIA Student Incubator, students work with innovation and entrepreneurship. They learn to develop and generate new ideas and projects and can get support for starting their own businesses.

    This might be the student's own ideas, or external projects being carried out in co-operation with local institutions and companies, municipalities or regions.

    Professional events 

    VIA Student Incubator holds a number of professional events and workshops focused on teaching students about entrepreneurship and networking.

  • Campus Randers is located only 400 meters from Randers Bus Station, where there is a direct connection to Tirstrup Airport. 

    From Randers Bus Station, you can also catch a bus to the city's train station about 1,6 km away, where you can make a connection to larger cities in Denmark such as Aarhus, Aalborg and Copenhagen. 

    Parking

    If you drive to campus, you can park at Fischergade 20 for a fee. The parking garage is located about 100 meters from campus.

    Take your bike 

    Another way to get around is with a bike. Biking is very popular in Denmark, and you can easily buy a bicycle inexpensively. In Randers there are special bicycle lanes downtown and along the Guden River.
