You will choose your speciality at the end of the first semester. To support your decision, you will have the opportunity to explore Sustainable transition as well as the Mechanical technology through introductory courses at the first semester.
In the course "Introduction to sustainable transition" at the 1st semester, you will learn through working with a specific product. As a hands-on assignment, similar to tasks you may carry out in your future career, you and your group will examine the energy consumption of a robotic vacuum cleaner - and later on in the semester, you will take it apart to be able to make a life-cycle analysis, where groups e.g. examine the which materials the vacuum cleaner consists of.
