    • Global stability in buildings.
    • Statical analysis and the connection between structures and static calculations.
    • Basic static for beams, columns and walls
    • Basic knowledge about concrete, which materials concrete contains (cement, aggregates, chemicals, etc.)
    • Being able to calculate a concrete beam regarding; shear force, bending moment and deflection in according to EuroCode 2

    • Stress analysis of structural elements
    • Have knowledge about cross-sectional capacity checks for steel according to Eurocode 3

    General admission requirements and basic knowledge about structural design, which includes as minimum
    • understanding of the concept of normal stress, strain, strength of material , bending , shear force/stress.
    • knowledge about Eurocode 1990 and 1991, load combinations
    • knowledge about ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state
    • understanding of different load transferring functions regarding the transferring of vertical and horizontal loads in a structure.
    • ability to find internal forces for determinate/indeterminate beams/columns.
