How to apply to the Design and Business programme

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply to the Design and Business top-up study programme.

Step 1: Application 

Fill in your application online at nemstudie.dk. Available from 1 February to 15 March 12:00 noon each year.

In the application, you are required to choose one of our three specialities:

Step 2: Admission assignment

Once you have filled in the application form in nemstudie.dk, you have to complete an admission assignment to be eligible for enrolment.

The admissions assignment must be solved online through WISEflow, which is our digital system for handing in assignments.

  • Information about the admission assignment will be sent to you by email in week 12, just after application deadline
  • The admissions assignment is available in WISEflow from 24 March and the deadline is 7 April at 12 (noon)

If you are applying for more than one speciality, please indicate which is your 1st and 2nd priority on the cover in WISEflow.

Step 3: Assesment and personal interview 

Your application and admissions assignment will be assessed by the admissions office and academic staff members.

  1. If your admission assignment qualifies you, you can be admitted without an interview.
  2. If your admission assignment has potential, but we need further information to assess your skills, we may invite you to a personal online interview. Interviews are carried out in May (weeks 20-21). At the interview, you will get the opportunity to present your admission assignment as well as any physical products you may have produced. In addition, you will be interviewed about your motivations for applying to Design and Business
  3. If your admission assignment does not qualify you, your application will be rejected.

Step 4: Final acceptance/rejection

You will be notified about your acceptance/rejection 6 June in nemstudie.dk. It is important to check in at nemStudie.dk continuously during the application process, as this is where all communication about your application takes place. We will also contact you here, if we need any kind of documentation or have questions about your application.

Do not forget to accept your study place within 3 days! If you do not accept it, it will be passed on to someone else.
