The course requires basic knowledge about Big-O-notation, random variables, expectation and variance as well as probability distributions. Some linear algebra concepts such as vectors, matrices and eigenvalues and eigenvectors are also expected. Finally, the course requires basic programming skills and the participants should be comfortable writing non-trivial code in Python.
